A simple arcade game, Alien Genocide is a very basic concept. Simply control your character as they fly through space, and blast any UFOs that come towards you. 
It's a general "Beat Your Own Score" game, in which the more UFOs you destroy, the higher your score gets. It's game over if you collide with a UFO.
