IngramJ Sep 4 2005, 01:44 PM Game: The Empire Sucks Ass Genre: Rip-Off Creator: Richard Hendrix Description: Help Kyle fight the forces of evil in Star Wars in this stolen rip-off from the cancelled sequel to South Park Star Wars by Subwoofer. Rating: 8% Review: As everybody knows, noone likes a ripped-off game, 'cause that's just lazy and rude theft to whoever made the game they ripped off. Now, you think that's bad, don't ya? Well, there's one thing worse than a rip-off, and that's a stolen rip-off. Incase you don't know how a stolen rip-off works, the person who rips someone off downloads that game that they're gonna rip, then they just take everyting in it and edit it, so that their game is just an edited version of someone else's game!!! How sweet!!! The following games are examples: Attack of the Friggin Furbys (Rip-off) = SPSW (Game that was ripped) Town of the Dead 2 demo = SPA3 Cartman's Quest = KQ and Megakid X 1 & 2 The Empire Sucks Ass = SPSW and TESA. Kenny's Rampage: Kyle's Journey = KR1 & 2 Now at first, I played this game and thought it was just a rip off because it used the same features as SPSW, but it's because it stole the title from what would have been the sequel to SPSW, which we didn't know about until a member in contact told us. Well, let's get onto about this game: Like most Richard Hendrix games, this POS has no more than 3 or 4 levels. Let's talk about everything in the game... The intro is strikingly similar to that of SPSW for obvious reasons, well actually, it shows a giant fatass Cartman appear on screen, then the exact same title from SPSW appears!! But there's just one problem; you have to type a password to move on, when usually, it could be done automatically, but it HAS to be done manually. And it even shows the same intro phrase from SPSW! Onto the levels. Level 1 requires you to, as Stan, kill a bunch of badly-drawn sprites of those elephant things from Star Wars itself. But why doesn't Stan have a Star Wars uniform? This level requires no movement, basically just random shooting at enemies. Boring! Also, it's too easy, because you have way more lives than you really need. In fact, games where you have more than one life aren't very realistic. Even cats don't really have nine lives. Level 2, it's probably a little challenging. it's biased around the type of game where you're a ship, and you have to destroy asteroids. That's what this level is all about. You are a Star Wars ship, and you have to destroy asteroids. The problem is that this idea is becoming so repetetive and unoriginal! Level 3, you are Kyle and you must kill a group of Darth Vader's henchmen, but there's so many of them, that and the level is very challenging. But Rich made a very silly feature in the level and the entire game. The feature in this level which is silly, is that some henchmen are indestructable, like the ones at the edge of the window. The silly feature throughout the game is that if you should die and fail your mission, the game just ends. What's the point of that? Has this guy ever heard of TRY AGAIN? Geez. There is supposedly a Podracing level in this game, and it is the exact level of the last level SPSW. This feature is useless in this crap game. Overall, this game is a definate miss. The ending result of a rip-off game is always bad. That's what you get from being so unoriginal. A lot of the graphics are taken directly from SPSW itself, and any self drawn graphics suck ass. The music is all from SPSW. Overall, all of Richard Hendrix's games are crap and rarely have more than 3 levels, like Lost In Space demo and Cops, all of which are shitty. The home of this game is the Recycle Bin.
