anonymous Apr 14 2005, 05:46 AM Game: Attack of The Fluffys Creator: Nick Nash Genre: Action Description: Little game that's a little like Space Invaders but creates little motivation to play. Rating: 4% Review: The game starts with the familiar South Park intro and is followed by a simple title screen. All levels have mono-colored backgrounds and black bars with Cartman heads on each side. Enemies look all the same. Visually it can't get any simpler. The game only has a ripped wallpaper and South Park icons, nothing here is self-done, maybe the laser beams Cartman shoots, but come on! There are no sound effects. Every level has different music but the midis fit each level as good as a glove your foot, but anything wouldn't have suited the game I think. When you die you'll hear the Terminator theme; I didn't think it was so dramatic that I died in this game. As for the gameplay, you shoot laser beams at randomly appearing Fluffy icons which is very boring. By completing a level you get to the next one which has more Fluffys that move faster and here lies the main problem. The Fluffys appear randomly and it isn't rare that a Fluffy appears where Cartman is standing in the beginning of a stage thus leading to an unfair death. You can even jump, but it's useless in this type of game. Due to boredom you might turn the game off immediately. I've never managed to advance to the 5th level of the game, due to its randomness, making this the first game I reviewed that I didn't complete to the end. My recommendation: Skip it.
